HISTORY
Lydia had as many mates in her new home, but as months passed with no luck, Lydia's worry grew into a sickening anxiety, eating away at her mind. Lydia's jealousy for Rosanna grew into an ongoing hatred for any molly with kits. She could never sleep, knowing that she didn't have kits. She started to act restless, rude and snapped at any cat who tried talking to her.
And on one fateful afternoon, a year after she was moved, Lydia came back, and the first cats she saw were, Rosanna came back, with her mate, and two litters of kittens. Lydia snapped. She should be the one having kittens. She deserved it. Rosanna didn't. With all her fury and her might, Lydia killed both Rosanna and her mate. And it felt good. She turned to kill the kits, but by then it was too late, they were gone. Lydia was still satisfied, they were now mother and fatherless. Maybe it was better to let them suffer.
Although Lydia wanted more, she wanted all cats with kittens to suffer, and so gathered other cats, other cats who also wanted kits who were unable of having kits. She gathered stray wonderers, those looking for leaders. She took in as many cats as possible, soon growing into a full colony called Pravus. She quickly established a tier system, based on physical strength. She came across an empty network of tunnels in the mountains, and decided to make it the home of her Pravus.
Lydia and her forces managed to wipe out a full colony, killing (almost) each and all of them, including all of their kittens.
Lydia continues to this day, targeting cats and groups who have kittens.
She has heard recent talk of a colony, not very far from her own, that is known for bearing kittens. Patria.
To be continued...
Lydia was born as a house cat. She was born alongside her brother, Geko. Lydia was always though, fierce and had the natural ability to beat up any cat effortlessly. Geko was the complete opposite of Lydia. He was small, scrawny and very shy. Geko was originally living in the same house as Lydia, then one day ran away, never to be seen by her again.
Just when she was a small kit, Lydia met another kit, her age, named Rosanna, who was also a house cat who lived next door. Lydia and Rosanna immediately became friends. They talked, trained, even groomed each others pelt together. Lydia and Rosanna were good friends. They sometimes butted heads, and jealousy often brewed between them, but they always managed to fix it up in the end.
Lydia always wanted to have kits of her own. She found a tom she had been quite fond of, and asked him to father her kits. After many tries, none were successful. Disappointed but still hopeful, Lydia tried again, with another tomcat. But the swollen belly she looked for never came, and so Lydia gathered as many males and possible, trying desperately to have kits. She never did.
Sometimes, she saw mothers with their kittens. How the helpless furballs looked up to their mothers with love, need. How their mothers looked down at them with compassion, care. Lydia wanted to have her own bundles of joy. She deserved it. What did she ever do to not?
And one day, Rosanna announced she was going to have a litter with her mate, Julio. Lydia was shocked, bitterly jealous of her friend. Lydia wanted to stop her from having any kits of any sort. Rosanna didn't deserve it.
Just as Lydia was thinking of her next move, she was put in a box, and moved far from her home. There she met many new cats.
