SITE RULES
GENERAL
☆ fun | this is what roleplay is all about. have fun with it! make characters that make you happy and roleplay the way you want to (within the rules of course).
☆ respect | respect your fellow members and try your best to get along. making friends is easy if you do! if you have an issue with a fellow member, take it to either a staff member or dms.
☆ discrimination | no discrimination will be tolerated, no matter what its based in.
☆ swearing | of course you can swear, just don't go overboard with it.
☆ age limit | you must be at least 15 years old to join Paracosm.
MEMBER
☆ one account | you can have multiple characters per account!
☆ ic style | we prefer 3rd person & past tense to keep things flowing smoothly.
☆ cats only | you can say 'the bird flew' etc, but only cats can be actively roleplayed.
☆ character limit | there isn't one as long as you can keep them all active.
CHARACTER
☆ breeds | we allow all breeds of cats save for exotic ones. Those must be purchased in the shop.
☆ defects | yes, blind/deaf/disabled cats are allowed!
☆ gender & sexuality | all sexualities and genders are accepted for characters!
☆ eyes | single color and natural color only, unless otherwise purchased in the shop.
☆ blue eyes -- any cat, except for mostly black cats, can have blue eyes, unless purchased.
ROLEPLAY
☆ time | we follow a liquid time system, so there's no set order to threads and you can participate in as many as you want at one time.
☆ aging | age them however you want, it is up to you.
☆ godmodding & powerplaying | not allowed unless permission is given by the other roleplayer..
☆ injury | your cat can be injured and/or disabled, just don't do it all the time or we would only have disabled cats on the site.
☆ chatspeak | please dont. it makes threads hard to read and breaks the flow.
☆ posting order | do not post out of order in a thread unless it's a thread with no posting order.
☆ minimum word limit | we have a minimum word limit of at least 100 words per post. this is to keep things literate and give your roleplay partner something to respond to.
RELATIONSHIPS
☆ mates | cats don't have to be mates to have kits. they must have at least three threads together before they have them though.
☆ birth | a pregnant queen must have at least 1 thread before the kits can be born.
☆ same-sex couples & kits | they can get another cat to carry/provide kits!
☆ cross colony relationships | these are allowed!
