Amber sniffed the boulders. She always had wondered how old the boulders really were, and how they even got here in the first place. She liked to image giant cats pushing the boulders around for... fun? Maybe the stones rolled themselves. They did give off a sense of mystic magical mystery, to Amber anyway. However they came to be, they were still here to this day, and in her eyes, one of the most unique places she had ever seen.
Opening her maw, Amber nicked off a small chunk of moss off one of the boulders. She gazed at the stone. Hoping it wouldn't mind. She knew fairly well that this was a Viriditarian area, and it felt just like stealing but there were quite a few boulders, and quite a lot of moss growing on all of them, that taking one small chunk wouldn't be a big deal. The gap would surely fill in given enough time and disturbance. Although Amber was quite worried that a Viridity cat would come out of the bushes and start shredding up her pelt for taking something for their territory. Thinking this, Amber decided to take no more, and set it down on the ground, along with a bunch of bright yellow marigold flowers she picked along the way.
Amber heard a rustling in the bushes. She turned around, alarmed at how sudden and close she had heard it. She could tell it wasn't any mouse. It didn't scuttle softly the same way prey did. It was surely a cat... or maybe something meaner, more dangerous. A fox, badger, a dog. Standing up, she shook her head, trying to clear her mind of her terrible fears. "W-Who's there?" Amber croaked, her tail between her legs. Whatever was out there Amber wanted to know who, or what it was.
