If you've found your way to this post, you must be interested in learning more about Paracosm. And I'm glad! Dive in and learn all about the backstory of these colonies right here.Soror and Viridity were founded by a sister-brother pair. The two loved eachother dearly but wished to walk different paths in life. They kept close contact despite that and settled down near to one another. Soror's to be leader, Sorka, began to collect followers. Cats admired her passion and enthuseasm for life and wanted to be part of it. The to be first council member of Viridity, Vinny, gathered friends. He made two very dear allies and bit by bit, both cats began to form the beginnings of their colonies.Viridity was relaxed and peaceful. Vinny was a laid back cat who cared deeply for his friends and even more deeply for nature. Cats who wanted a simple life flocked to him, settling down in a unified territory where they could get along and have someplace safe to always rest their heads. Soror was energetic and full of gusto. Sorka was an exciteable molly who wanted to live her life to the fullest. She was a natural born leader, and cats who sought guidance followed in her pawsteps. The two colonies grew and grew. Years passed and they established themselves in the area. The life of a Sororian queen was dangerous however. Their stomping grounds were exposed and rife with predators. One day, a queen named Patricia had had enough. She left her colony, unborn kits still in her belly, and crossed the river to fresh lands and deep forests. She found herself in a small cottage, and that was where she would make her home. Much like Vinny and Sorka, Patricia was a cat with charisma who drew others to her. Many queens from Soror followed her in the months after, and bit by bit they began to establish their own colony. It would be named Patria. The three colonies have lived in peace and harmony since their founding. No wars have broken out, and border skirmishes are nearly non-existant. Viridity and Soror share territory to this day while the queens of Patria live a more secluded life. Decades have passed since the founding of the three colonies and their numbers have grown considerably. Traditions have developed that make the colonies different from one another, and despite their differences, they all get along. But who knows how long the peace will last?
