Viridity Council | The council is a party of three cats who lead Viridity. They make large decisions, remember and uphold traditions, and work together to make sure that all choices are fair and just. Shrink | The shrink of Viridity is a cat who treats the psychological issues of the colony. They make sure that the cats of Viridity- and others as appointments are often made from across colonies- have good mental health and are treated for various disorders. Viridians | Viridians are the citizens of Viridity. They range from newborns to seniors, and generally all have a basic knowledge of healing. They are very peaceful and like to work together, though they all sleep where they want. Queens | Queens are the female cats who care for the kits of Viridity. They are among the most highly respected cats in the colony, as Viridians see giving birth as the greatest honor.
Leader | The leader of Soror is chosen through an election process. They hold great power over the colony, but not total control thanks to the presence of the Second and Third.
Second | The second is the leader's right paw cat. They organize patrols and give council, as well as going out on patrols as any regular cat would. They are chosen by the leader after the leader's election.
Third | Much like the Second, the Third serves as an adviser to the leader. They organize training sessions and frequently patrol the ravine, making sure that repairs are up to date and that the ravine is safe. They are also chosen by the leader after their election.
Guardians | Guardians protect and fight for the colony. At least one guardian must be present for every scout and predator patrol. These are generally the largest and strongest cats in the colony.
Predators | Predators hunt and provide for the colony. They must be swift, stealthy, and strong. They're between Guardians and Scouts in regard to build.
Scouts | Scouts patrol the territory and scout ahead in battle. They are fast, agile, lean, and limber with strong senses. They generally have a good knowledge of the territory and know all of the landmarks and best hiding and hunting places.
Greenhorns |Greenhorns are the young cats in training to become Guardians, Predators, or Scouts. They range from 3 months old to 14. They are trained one on one by their tutors.
Veterans | Veterans are cats who have retired from the rough life of a Sororian. They are hunted for and don't have to leave the ravine unless they choose to. They also are trained in the knowledge of healing once they receive this rank. They lead a life of leisure and are greatly respected for having survived so long. Generally, they range from 70-130 months old.
Matriarch | The Matriarch is the supreme ruler of Patria. Her word is law, and she is always female. Leadership is passed from mother to daughter, and the mother gets to pick which of her daughters will succeed her.
Royal Family | The royal family are the cats who are related to the matriarch. They have higher power than regular Citizens and carry a position of authority. This includes the mother, the father, siblings, and any kits that the Matriarch has.
Physician | The physician takes care of the wounds and illnesses of the colony. They gather herbs, keep a stock of them, and treat the injuries of their fellow colonymates. They teach all of their knowledge to their Tenderfoot.
Midwife | Midwives assist in the birth of kits within Patria, They are specifically trained in reproductive health and have a detailed knowledge of herbs and treatments that aid in newborn kit care and birthing.
Citizens | Citizens are the cats of Patria who hunt, fight, and patrol the borders. They can be male or female though are generally female unless the males are neutered or born into the colony.
Tenderfoots | Tenderfoots are the young cats in training to achieve other ranks. They range from the age of four months old to twelve. These cats are guided by their mothers, the midwife, or the physician depending on what they want to be.
Queens | Queens are the female cats who care for kits. They can be expecting, nursing, or permanently there to care for the kits of other queens. This rank is very revered, and queens often help one another raise their kits.
Seniors |Seniors are the cats who have retired from citizenship or other roles. They no longer have to hunt, fight, or patrol if they don't wish to. These cats generally range from 80 to 160 months old.
